Meditation & Accompaniment
Meditation is the process of becoming friends with our experience. With over twenty years of study within the Buddhist tradition and a decade of teaching, my work focuses on cultivating warmth, space, and curiosity. It is a common misconception that meditation is about stopping thoughts; instead, we can develop the easy fluidity to connect with a natural awareness that is already there.
One-to-One Sessions
I work with individuals to help them develop a compassionate relationship with their inner world. Drawing on the principles of Inner Relationship Focusing – and grounded in the stability of my own long-term meditation practice – these sessions provide a held container for inquiry.
My role is to support you to acknowledge and companion the parts of yourself that are carrying pain or confusion. By turning towards these aspects with gentleness, we create the space for them to be heard, allowing the natural wisdom of the body to facilitate a shift.
Focusing & The Felt Sense
Central to this work is the ‘felt sense’ – a physical sensation that holds the implicit meaning of a situation. Discovering this capacity is often revelatory. Through Focusing, we develop the ability to connect directly with this bodily wisdom, learning to give expression to that which sits on the very edge of our awareness.
Current Availability
I am currently completing my advanced teacher certification in Focusing, alongside doctoral research into the philosophy of Eugene Gendlin. As part of this ongoing training, I offer a limited number of sessions at a reduced rate.
I recommend an initial free 20-minute connection call to discuss your needs and see if we are a good fit.
Group Facilitation & Teaching
My work with groups creates a container for shared intelligence and embodied practice. This could include teaching meditation practices that connect directly to the body, training in Thinking at the Edge (TAE), or facilitating dialogue using the Art of Participatory Leadership. These modalities can be offered as distinct workshops or combined, creating a generative space to think from our implicit experience and find language for that which is not yet fully formed. Please get in touch via email to discuss a session designed specifically for your group.
